Flexible
Lances
NLB
flexible lances follow bends and curves in a pipe or
tube, allowing total cleaning coverage. Flex lances
can accommodate either tube or pipe cleaning nozzles,
to clean pipes and tubes of various diameters. When
ordering flexible lances, please specify part number,
working pressure and end connection.
FEATURES/BENEFITS:
• Smooth inner core reduces pressure drop.
• Short end connection with minimum O.D. allows
movement around tight bend radius.
• Female pipe threads on end connections available.
• 25-ft. (7.6 m) and 50-ft. (15.2 m) lengths are
stock; other lengths, up to 200 ft. (61 m), are available
on request.
• All lances are pressure tested before shipment.

Back-Out
Preventer
The
DM15900
Back-Out Preventer provides maximum protection against
a flex lance unexpectedly coming back out of a pipe that
is being cleaned. it attaches easily to a flanged or non-flanged
pipe, leaving an opening large enough for the flex lance
to be inserted, yet small enough to prevent its exit.
The Back-Out Preventer is adaptable to pipes with an O.D.
between 6" and 36" (152 tp 914 mm). Itc omes
complete with mounting hardware, three sets of steel guards,
and chains to secure it to non-flanges pipes.

Flex
Lance Guard
NLB Model LG-1525
The
LG-1525
flex lance guard is an operator safety device in tube
cleaning operations. It helps prevent the nozzle from
being pulled out of a tube while under pressure. The
flex lance guard allows the flex lance to pass through,
stopping the nozzle inside and protecting the operator
from the high-pressure spray. Interchangeable lance
stops allow for various nozzle diameters.

Stingers
Stingers
should always be employed in tube and pipe cleaning
applications where flexible hose is used. The stinger
is a positive method to prevent the nozzle from reversing
in the tube or pipe and exiting toward the operator.
A stinger should be at least the same length as the
tube or pipe size diameter. For example, cleaning out
an 8” (20 cm) pipe would require use of at least
an 8” (20 cm) stinger to prevent the nozzle from
reversing.
